Troubleshooting

Every message says what to do, usually with a button. Most fix themselves. Here is each one.

The film for this page is being made. The steps below are all you need.

You see	Do this
Allow the microphone to talk to Ducky	Click Open Settings and turn on Microphone for DuckyHelper.
No microphone found	Plug in a microphone, or pick one in your Mac's Sound settings.
Another app is using the microphone	End the call or recording in the other app.
Your sign-in expired	Click Sign in.
You're offline. Ducky reconnects when you're back.	Nothing: it reconnects by itself.
Can't reach Ducky. Retrying in 6 s	Wait, or click Try now.
Ducky is resting, back soon	Try again a little later.
Allow screen	Turn on Screen recording for DuckyHelper, then quit and reopen it.

Problem	Do this
`fn` does nothing	Turn on Input monitoring for DuckyHelper, then quit and reopen it.
A switch is on but doesn't work	Remove DuckyHelper from that list with the minus button, add it again, then quit and reopen.
Screen recording is on but Ducky can't see	Quit and reopen DuckyHelper. Screen recording starts after a restart.
Out of talk time	Your plan refills by itself; the pill shows when. See Plans.
